Extremely popular - Mild tasting with subtle flavor
California Early is a softneck garlic with a lumpy, spreading bulb that vaguely resembles an artichoke flower.  The plants are very large, vigorous, and productive. Produce an off-white bulb with pink-tinged cloves. Tight bulb wrappers beget long (7-10 month) storage. Mild flavored, slightly sweet.
